Well you know we love fashion.....obviously! Well we like photography too!! This summer, littlemissmatched has been working with over 130 Summer Apprentices. What is a Summer Apprentice, you ask? Summer Apprentices are aspiring poets, fashionistas, designers, athletes and intellectuals…and they are all girls aged 8-14 years old! Throughout July, these Apprentices created amazing works of Photography.


The theme for the photos? Skateboards, Frisbees, Cartwheels and Sun...mix it up for Summer Fun!

Caption: Fun in the Sun


Inspiration: I want to learn to ride a skateboard! I love this photo because it has my favorite LittleMissMatched toy in it!

Inspiration: I took the photo at the local skatepark. I love it because it looks as if he is going to drop in the bowl!

Caption: Have Bag, Will Travel


Inspiration: No matter what I do or where I go in the summer, I know I can take my bag with me. I took it with me all around the city of Chicago, to a unique art festival in Grant Park, thrilling speed boat ride in Lake Michigan, not to mention sight-seeing and shopping along the "Magnificent Mile". One of my favorite places I went with my bag was the marina by the beach on Lake Michigan. I love this picture because it incorporates water and boats with my favorite LMM bag. The water is so soothing and calming and the boats are so beautiful, and I love the shapes and colors on the bag (I take it everywhere!).

Inspiration: I love this picture, because I never thought I would be able to capture it. It is a picture of my friend, Isabel, who loves to use my pogo stick when she comes to my house.

Caption: Summer Salad "Dressing"


Inspiration: The inspiration for the picture was summer fruits. I went to the store with my mom and we got watermelon (my favorite) and zucchini (my mom makes good zucchini bread). There are so many different fruits and vegetables to choose from in the summer. I like this picture because it is bright, fun, and goofy.

Caption: Never be Afraid to Express Yourself


Inspiration: I play volleyball and sometimes my team wears funky socks to practice. That made me want to take a picture of it. I love my photo because it draws attention right to the socks but doesn't take away from what's going on either.

Inspiration: My inspiration was to mix the city I live closest to and a funny cartoon monkey. I love it since it is funny and not expected.

Caption: OMG!? I’m in way over my head with this sleepover!


Inspiration: I got my inspiration from the LMM website and my mom. Plus, sleepovers are so fun! They are a great place to capture a picture! I love this picture because it shows lots of emotion, I have lots of LMM products, and I look so CUTE! There's a stuffed hippo on my head and I am wearing one sock and one flip flop! I am a total LittleMissMatched Fanatic!
