Description
LittleMissMatched is an entrepreneurial, high-growth, dynamic company looking for a driven and energetic marketing professional to work with cross functional teams to support the Company’s brand marketing strategy.
The Candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing as part of a small but exciting marketing team, responsible for all brand communication and marketing strategy development and execution. The team’s marketing efforts encompass retail marketing, direct-to-consumer digital and print marketing, social media, public relations, community outreach and ongoing customer engagement.
Responsibilities
•Cross-channel Marketing Calendar – Develop and maintain detailed, multi-channel marketing calendar incorporating marketing efforts of all business units.
•Marketing Plan Execution – Work with cross-functional teams in the business to communicate the brand voice and messaging while executing seamlessly integrated marketing strategies.
•Social Media – Manage relationship with social media consultants; develop and execute and social media content in line with cross functional marketing calendar; monitor social media efforts of peers/competitors.
•Public Relations – Work with marketing team to generate PR buzz for LittleMissMatched in the form of product placement, editorial mention, celebrity trial, television coverage, publicity events and more.
•Community Outreach – Coordinate local community marketing in the NY area and around retail locations; manage all community event/donation requests, helping to identify most beneficial and execute requests.
•Customer Engagement – Manage ongoing customer engagement initiatives (i.e. Project Sock – LMM’s annual sock design competition).
Qualifications
•BA degree. Marketing or Business degree preferred.
•Minimum 2-4 years prior marketing or marketing related experience.
•Prior experience with Social Media and/or Public Relations preferred.
•Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
•Action oriented personality.
•Proficient in Microsoft office, including word, excel and powerpoint. Strong ability to quickly learn and navigate technology a must.
•Independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize diverse workload.
•Self-starter and able to work independently and in teams.
•High level of interpersonal skills required and ability to be poised, tactful and diplomatic.
•Great attitude with optimistic disposition and likes to have FUN!
