Rapidly growing, fashion forward tween apparel and accessories lifestyle brand is seeking an energetic and creative designer to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
•Research and shop markets for new trends and inspiration
•Product design and development for apparel, hosiery, footwear and accessories
•Print repeat and graphics design for all product categories
•Tech pack and spec creation for apparel and accessories, prints and graphics
•Present designs at seasonal company milestone meetings
•Manage seasonal color palettes, strike off, knit down and trim approvals
•Work with technical designer to develop technical specs and manage fit sessions
•Develop and maintain product line plan and presentation sheets in Excel and Illustrator
•Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Excel, Photoshop is a plus
•Manage and coordinate freelancers and interns
•Assist Creative Director with all design requests

Requirements
•Strong taste level, color and print sense
•College degree in Fashion Design or related field
•5-7 years minimum design experience
•Strong computer knowledge in Illustrator and Excel
•Photoshop a plus, not required
•Experience in cut & sew knits, sweaters and accessories
•Knowledge of CPSC requirements
•Strong communication, organizational and management skills
•Thorough understanding of product development process
